Easter

Hello,

It’s been a longish time without a meaningfull update on what been happening in ne-wo’s world. It’s still up and down, but yay I’m on uni holidays. Here is a little recap of some of what has been happening:

  • Jackson, my puppy, is going well. He now weighs 32 KG, not bad for a 4 and a half month old puppy. He has been feeling a little ill recently, he has a bad itching problem, so he is on some medicine to clear him up. He can now stand on the ground whilst having is front paws on my lap (see above).
  • I will soon be working on a cool project, however the clients of the people who I will be working for are slow in sighing the contract to start the work, so at the moment I’m just hanging around waiting for work. It’s a little annoying not being able to start right away.
  • However the other place I work at has some staff off on holidays and doing asset management projects, so I’m going to pick up a few days of work there.
  • My arms at the moment are soo sore, I helped my brother in law break a spa in half and take it out of his house. He wanted to get rid of it, however the only way to get it out of his house without pulling his house apart was to break the spa up. Fun, but exhausting. The weight of my arms, just by themselves, is almost too much for me to lift.
  • Ohhh, I almost forgot to say, my stupidity continues, I decided the other day that a colour laser printer would be a cool thing to have, so I got one. I’ve been good recently in saving my money, so I decided to reward myself (With a geek present).
  • My coke addiction (the drink kind), has recently had some comebacks, yep, I have been drinking coke again, but I have managed to stop it again.
  • Easter was once again spent with family. My 1.5 year old cousin exhausted me, I was holding on to him and flying him around like a airplane around a local park. Unfortunately he did not know running around holding him is exhausting and he kept on pestering me for more, I kept on giving in.

Owell, cannot think of much else.

Cheerio.

BIS Awards Night 2006

I have to congratulate some of my uni friends who were awarded their degrees this past Friday. My Friday night was spent celebrating my uni friends graduations. Some of them are staying around uni with me, and some of them are already in the workforce.

The night before the graduations I was informed of the plans of Tim to build a spinning hat to wear when he received his degree from the head of the uni. I have to say, I was quite surprised that he was going to actually do this, I was also scared that they would stop him from going out on stage because of it, suffice to say that I would not have worn it. But I'm happy that he did and that it was all successful. Good on you Tim!! Have a look at it Here

After the graduations we had our schools awards night and celebratory drinks afterwards with all of our friends. I did not get any awards, but found out I got a Distinction for my work over summer, I'm happy with that. The drinks afterwards were really good, Expensive though. Unfortunately we did not get a full turnout, but I think everyone enjoyed their time, although I think I was a bit drunk to make that judgement.

Since I cannot remember much from the night, you can see my photos here and we might be able to construct what happened on the night :-P.

Maybe Tims recolection of events might be able to help construct something?

Cheerio.
