Relaxing

I’ve sort of been busy recently. I have not had many chances to get my camera out, so this is going to be pretty much boring text. But since the likes of Emma demand I put something up here I will take what I have half written up on my computer and put it up, thanks for the encouragement though..

But first, I must wish Steph all the best for her recovery after her adventure into oncoming traffic during peek hour..

A good friend of mine has come back from almost a year in Japan, so I’ve caught up with them a couple of times. It’s good to have them back, even though I’m now in the same city as them now, I’m speaking to them less that I did when they were overseas. But, I think this shows it’s better to have someone’s company in person than just chatting to them.

My laptop was in need of another operation, so I bought some hinges for the screen. It was very hard to replace them. I had a win though, I never ended up paying for the parts I got as the people I 'purchased' them from never charged my credit card. Since I hold animosity for someone who works for their parent company, I’m not going to chase it up (They are one of the only people I have animosity for).

Last weekend I was just sitting around and then an idea hit me, I should drive up to see one of my high school friends who now live in the country. So I did my little 600 KM road trip to see them for a couple of hours. Yay for company cars.

This week just passed was one crazy week. On Tuesday I went for a little tour of one of my clients worksites. It was a very interesting insight into an industry I have been affected by in the past, but never gave much thought to.

On Wednesday I went to say goodbye to a friend to is moving over to Queensland. So we went out clubbing, I even got breath tested by the police on the way home. Scary, but I just registered, so all is safe.

On Thursday night I went out to catch up with a couple of uni friends at a pub in the city. It was good to see them all again.

But Friday night was the start of the craziness, I had my uni pub crawl. So it was a big night out, I even did an absinthe the proper way. This continued into Saturday night with a friends birthday drinks celebrations at a pub in town. Yet another big, big night.

Time for me to recover now. Photos here, cannot belive it, over 2 years.

This has taken a while to get out, so after writing the above, today I got my final uni results back, YAY, I got a distinction for my last ever subject at uni. So that means overall I got a 5.5 GPA for my undergrad years and a 5.4 GPA for my post grad Masters degree. YAY, no going back to uni for me.

Cheerios.
