Up and down

The last week has been very interesting indeed, Its had its huge highs, and high lows. I’m not going to say much about it though.

Anyway, I might be getting yet another job, some other people I know potentially have some work that might be coming up, and I can see this work maybe leading to something else long term (I think they want to test me to see how good I am). Either way it would be another good experience (if it does happen), but I don’t want to “count my chickens before they hatch” so to speak, so I'm not going to say or think much more about it.

The people I did my undergraduate degree with are graduating this week, alongside my Masters degree friends. I don’t graduate though, I did that last year, and graduate again next year. However, I am going to the Awards night for my school in the university, it will no doubt be interesting; free alcohol and having to network with business people that have been invited along. Oh yeah, it will not end there as well, we’re celebrating in town afterwards with all my university friends on a Friday night.

Oh well, I don’t have much else to say really...

Cheerio.

Hello

Well, time for me to blog again.

  • I have been exercising recently at night, just a small amount ah home. But I have been felling really good for it, it’s a “good pick me up”. I’m thinking that in the future when I'm busy I should find some time to exercise no matter what.
  • Formula 1 is starting again the weekend. So I'm going to watch it on tv. Congratulations for me.
  • Work last week was really cool, nice and relaxing, I did not have much work to do, but I learnt a whole heap of soft skills in an area where I haven’t had a chance to learn before.
  • Jackson is getting along well. I have been meaning to take photos, but have not taken many good ones, sorry people. But he has graduated from puppy school, so he is somewhat socialised, and sort of knows how to sit (If only he would come when his name is called)

Not much else has really been happening, I guess I'm getting ready to look for jobs, I have been highly encouraged by my previous employer to apply there, so hopefully something good will happen.

Hmmm, Life....

Hmmm, Life.... Its been interesting (Good and bad) since I left my last job.

Since I went on my little holiday (now 2 weekends ago), and since I have stopped drinking coke I have managed to loose 5 KG. I was really surprised by this loss, although generally when I'm on holidays I don’t tend to eat much and since coming back home I’ve decided to be healthy.

Uni has started again, It has been a nice slow start to this semester, YAY for me now, but no doubt it will be full on later on. The slowness may have something to do with my universities disorganisation. For one of my subjects there was no one allocated to teach a subject, 4 days before it was due to begin.

But, overall this semester is not that full for me, I’ve made a decision to not speed up my completion of my degree to finish early like I could have, instead taking it easy and finishing when I should. Since I don’t have much to do I get to study subjects to get good marks and look really well for a kick ass job next year, I'm not going to leave it to the last minute.

Talking about jobs, I’ve decided to get a part time job this semester just to keep me a little side tracked and gain some more experience to support my job hunting for next year. I was talking to a guy I know who is in charge of IT for his company regarding my situation, and you know what, he is short staffed, So YAY I now have a job. The job is nothing brilliant, but it shows I have some cool links to people in IT. It gives me some confidence for my big time job search, but still I'm scared. Where to for next year?? What to do?? How to go about it?? Soo many decisions!!!

Ohwell, that’s me for now I guess....
